Smoked Salmon Platter Recipe
This is the perfect centrepiece for entertaining. Lucious smoked salmon with zesty and bright garnishes. Complimented by thick luxurious sauces
INGREDIENTS
- smoked salmon, best quality and pre sliced
- lemon mayonnaise
- hollandaise sauce
- 1 tbsp cornichons, roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp capers, roughly chopped
- leaves, handful of pea shoots or rocket work well
- dill, small bunch picked and chopped
- lemon, zest and juice
- black pepper
- lemon oil, plain oil or a dill oil work well too
METHOD
- Lay slices of smoked salmon onto a large serving platter. Leaving gaps throughout
- Dot teaspoons of Lemon Mayonnaise and Hollandaise Sauce in between the gaps
- Scatter over the cornichons and capers
- Sprinkle over the dill. Scatter over the leaves
- Grate over the lemon zest and a gentle squeeze of lemon juice over the salmon
- Generous black pepper all over. Finish with a drizzle of oil
Serve with buttered brown bread and as part of a larger spread
