Smoked Salmon Platter Recipe

This is the perfect centrepiece for entertaining. Lucious smoked salmon with zesty and bright garnishes. Complimented by thick luxurious sauces

INGREDIENTS

  • smoked salmon, best quality and pre sliced
  • lemon mayonnaise
  • hollandaise sauce
  • 1 tbsp cornichons, roughly chopped
  • 1 tbsp capers, roughly chopped
  • leaves, handful of pea shoots or rocket work well
  • dill, small bunch picked and chopped
  • lemon, zest and juice
  • black pepper
  • lemon oil, plain oil or a dill oil work well too

METHOD

  • Lay slices of smoked salmon onto a large serving platter. Leaving gaps throughout
  • Dot teaspoons of Lemon Mayonnaise and Hollandaise Sauce in between the gaps
  • Scatter over the cornichons and capers
  • Sprinkle over the dill. Scatter over the leaves
  • Grate over the lemon zest and a gentle squeeze of lemon juice over the salmon
  • Generous black pepper all over. Finish with a drizzle of oil

 

Serve with buttered brown bread and as part of a larger spread
