Food Production Operative
Location: Broadway, WR12 7NH
Contract: Full/Part Time and Seasonal positions available
Pay: From £13.00 per hour
Operating Hours: 8:30am - 5pm Days: Monday - Friday
Cotswold Gold is a multi award winning food producer in the Cotswolds.
Due to continued growth we are looking for a dedicated and motivated Food Production Operative to join our team.
You will play a key role in our production process, helping to ensure the efficient and high quality preparation of our products. This is a varied, hands on role with real scope to develop within the business.
What the role involves:
- Following production schedules and recipes to prepare products to our quality standards
- Operating and maintaining production equipment and reporting any issues promptly
- Mixing, filling and packaging food products while following all hygiene and safety procedures
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and properly sanitised
- Monitoring product quality during production and flagging any concerns
- Working collaboratively to hit production targets and keep things running smoothly
- Lifting and moving ingredients and finished products as required
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience in food production or a physically demanding role is preferred but not essential, as training can be provided
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand and lift for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- A good team player who can follow instructions and take responsibility
- Basic numeracy and literacy for record keeping and production schedules
- Full right to work in the United Kingdom
- Ability to reliably commute to Broadway WR12 7NH
