How to use Whisky Butter

Earlier this year we proudly won 3 Stars at the Great Taste Awards.

Recognised as the world’s most coveted food and drink awards, this accolade highlights the exceptional quality and flavour of our product.

Out of 13,672 entries from across the globe, our Cotswold Whisky Butter captivated the judges with its exceptional “flavour, quality, and innovation”. The 3-Star Rating, the highest honour at the Great Taste Awards, is given only to extraordinarily delicious products. Described as “Exquisite” by the Guild of Fine Food, this award is a testament to our dedication to excellence.

Here are our best ways to use our Cotswolds Whisky Butter

1. Spread on Mince Pies

Warm up mince pies, then top with a dollop of Cotswold Whisky Butter. The creamy, whisky-infused butter adds richness and a festive touch. And enjoy with a glass of Cotswolds Single Malt, a roaring fire and a Christmas film.

2. Top Christmas Pudding

After steaming a Christmas pudding, flame with some Cotswolds Whisky and serve it warm with a generous spoonful of Whisky Butter. Its creamy texture complements the dense pudding perfectly. Then head to the sofa for a nap!

3. Melt Over Warm Scones

Freshly baked fruit scones, still warm, spread on Cotswold Whisky Butter to gently melt in. Then follow up with jam and then clotted cream. And yes, this is the correct way to eat scones!!!

4. Spread on Pancakes or Waffles

Make fluffy pancakes or crispy waffles, then add a dollop of Whisky Butter on top. As it melts, it creates a sweet glaze that pairs well with maple syrup.

5. On Shortbread Biscuits

Bake classic shortbread biscuits and spread a light coating of Cotswold Whisky Butter over them. This adds depth to the buttery biscuit, creating a festive dessert. And for an extra treat, dip into a warm chocolate sauce.

6. Stir into Porridge

Prepare porridge as usual, add plump sultanas, then stir in a spoonful of Whisky Butter just before serving and a light dusting of cinnamon and nutmeg.. The creamy sweetness elevates your morning oats into a cosy winter breakfast.

7. Drizzle Over Crumbles

Once your fruit crumble (apple and blackberry is the dream) is baked, drizzle melted Whisky Butter over the top before serving.

8. Top Tarte Tatin

Apart from mince pies, this is the teams favourite. A big dollop on top of a warm apple Tarte Tatin
