This oil is absolutely amazing! Smoky, rich heaven!
I found a small bottle at a deli and used it sparingly due to it’s small size. However when it was finished, I had to have more! So I went on to buy the biggest bottle they do from the website.
The oil is such a rich golden colour and the smell is sublime! I love smoked products; cheese, ham, etc. and simply can’t get enough of the smoky nature this oil is infusing into all my cooking.
I was going to use it occasionally but have found myself using the smoke oil all the time instead of normal oil!
Will definitely continue to use this product for a long time to come. it’s just a shame the shipping costs are high, I wish I could find a local supplier.

An oil that can be used almost for everything, the smokiness adds to the depth of flavour of cooked meats
Try it as the basis for a salad dressing, again a different, interesting taste comes through

Absolutely essential for barbecuing. All meats are given a subtle smoky flavour .Salads are taken to a different level.

Seriously good, we started with a small bottle and having gone through that rather fast are now on our 2nd of the largest bottles – transforms salads and dressings and great on meat.

Love this oil – excellent for roast Mediterranean veg dishes and on meat. Oh, and salads too! All sorts of things really.

First bought this at a food fair 8 years ago. Quality and price consistent. A lovely smoky flavoured oil, not ‘burnt” which I add to a marinade for the bbq. Because it is rapeseed oil it burns at a higher temperature- ideal! Great in any middle eastern dishes too

This large bottle is going to a family of BBQ cooks – I know they are going to devour it – maybe I should have bought 2 bottles!

First came across this as part of a tasting menu, where the waiting staff were a bit confused when we insisted we needed more of it. Asked where it came from at the end of the meal and have been ordering it for myself and friends since. It’s incredibly tasty and very versatile, there aren’t many savoury things it doesn’t improve. Though on it’s own with some crusty bread is pretty hard to beat too.

I absolutely love this products – the smokiness alongside the quality of the oil gives amazing flavour. It makes the best roast potatoes and I’m still exploring lots of different uses.

Cotswold Gold’s smoked oil is fantastic. As a vegetarian I use it in lots of dishes that, traditionally, would include meat or fish. It’s perfect for tofu, an ingredient which takes some jazzing up to get the best out of it. Also bean and pulse based dishes and marinades for barbecues, stews and stir fries. I’m sure that it would work perfectly with many meats, in particular the cheaper cuts such as gammon which sometimes need a bit of a boost.
A little goes a long way and it has a long shelf life, making this another one of Cotswold Gold’s products that are fantastic ingredients to add to anyone’s store cupboard.

A lovely smoky flavoured oil- I have been addicted to it since I bought some from the deli in Broadway.
I have been buying it in bulk for a few years now (largest bottles) as I sprinkle it on almost everything savoury!
Excellent on line service- arrives very quickly.
By the way, the owner, Charlie is extremely friendly!

Cotswold Gold smoked rapeseed oil is versatile and adds a fabulous flavour to many meat and vegetable dishes. Use in it a bulgar wheat or couscous salad and it adds a wonderful smokey flavour. It’s also good as a marinade for any meat before barbecuing and is excellent on roast vegetables. I’ve become addicted to it. Thank you Cotswold Gold for bringing this delicious oil to the market.

Smoked flavour is perfectly balanced. Great over potatoes or veg, mixed in with mayo or butter but my favourite is drizzled over warm popcorn with a little paprika
